Appliances that disappear

Appliance & Smart Integration

Integrated appliances live or die on clearances, ventilation and panel alignment. We build the cabinetry around the exact appliance spec sheets, so the fridge door opens fully and the panel gaps stay true.

Appliance & Smart Integration by Grainline Kitchens & Cabinetry
Scope

What this job includes.

  • Panel-ready fridge and dishwasher integration
  • Oven towers and combination stacks
  • Concealed rangehoods, ducted correctly
  • Appliance garages and lift-up bench units
  • Electrician coordinated for new circuits
Our system: We build from the manufacturer's installation spec sheet, not from the showroom photo, which is why our integrated doors align and keep aligning.
How we quote it

A fixed, itemised proposal from a measured design.

Named hardware, named slabs, signed drawings. The price cannot drift because the spec cannot drift.

The 7-line quote
  1. 1 The measured design. Laser-measured, drawn to the millimetre, and signed off by you before anything is cut.
  2. 2 Cabinetry, itemised. Carcass material, door fronts, hardware brand and finish, every unit on its own line.
  3. 3 Benchtops & surfaces. Stone or timber, slab grade, edge profile and cutouts, priced exactly, not "from".
  4. 4 Install & trades coordination. Our installers, plus the licensed plumber and electrician scheduled around your build.
  5. 5 Appliance integration. Panels, cutouts and clearances for your chosen appliances, checked against the drawings.
  6. 6 Approvals & site allowances. Where walls or services move: approvals, waste and protection, accounted for, not discovered.
  7. 7 Warranty, in writing. 10-year cabinetry warranty plus registered Blum and benchtop manufacturer warranties at handover.
If a quote doesn’t show these lines, you can’t compare it, and you don’t know what’s been cut.
How it runs

What happens, step by step.

1

Consult & measure

Showroom or in-home. We measure properly, talk budget honestly, and listen to how you actually cook.

2

Design & quote

A millimetre-accurate design with a fixed, itemised proposal. You sign off the drawings, not a sketch.

3

Built in our workshop

Your cabinetry is made in-house on the Sunshine Coast, checked against the drawings before it leaves.

4

Install & handover

Installed by the makers, trades coordinated, site left clean. Walkthrough against the drawings at handover.

Insured, covered, guaranteed

The paperwork behind the price.

Public liability to $20M, and a 10-year cabinetry warranty, all in writing, all on request.

Kitchen work over $3,300 in Queensland legally requires a QBCC licence on the contract, ours is on every proposal. We carry public liability to $20M, the cabinetry is warranted in writing for ten years, and the hardware and benchtop warranties are registered for you at handover.

The cover, the guarantee, and how to check each one.
Questions, answered

Appliance & Smart Integration: common questions.

Do I buy the appliances or do you?
Either works. Most clients buy their own and we build to the exact models; we just need the spec sheets locked before the design is signed off, because a different fridge is a different cabinet.
Can you integrate appliances into my existing kitchen?
Often yes, if the carcass dimensions and ventilation can be made right. We measure first and tell you honestly when an integration would compromise the appliance warranty.
What is the difference between panel-ready and fully integrated appliances?
Panel-ready appliances accept a custom door panel on the outside but the appliance handle or control strip remains visible. Fully integrated appliances are completely concealed behind a door that aligns with the surrounding cabinetry. We build for both; the spec sheet for your chosen model tells us which it is.
How do you handle rangehood ducting inside the cabinetry?
We plan the duct route at the design stage, not after the cabinets are up. The duct run is drawn on the shop drawings and coordinated with the electrician. A blocked or badly routed duct is a common afterthought on cheaper builds; we treat it as a design constraint from day one.
Can you add integrated appliances to an existing kitchen?
Sometimes yes, if the carcass sizes can accommodate the panel-ready or integrated unit. We measure the existing cabinets against the appliance spec sheets and tell you honestly whether a conversion is feasible, whether it needs a carcass rebuild, or whether the existing layout makes it impractical.
